Working for MDM Props and Peter Millard LTD, we fabricated a light column for 'The Club' in Royal Cruises newest ship, Celebrity Accent in St. Nazaire, France.
Holes were drilled to hold the brackets which mounted the light covers.
The brackets were drilled and mounted onto the square stock.
To meet the structural enginners requirements, one of the poles must have a tube pressure fit and bolted to be safe. To do this we removed the inner seam and pressure fit the pipe with a forklift.
LEDs were then wrapped around the poles in the proper places and a test fit was done with the light covers to assure correct alighnment.
We arrived on sight and unloaded to begin working.
We tested the lights to make sure there was no damage during shipping and strength tested the post to make sure it conformed to safty regulations.
Bit by bit the covers went over the LED covered posts.
The largest post was mounted to the ceiling and the last tower was dressed.
