Working under Art & Assembly for artist Mehdi Dakhli, I fabricated the Sidi Bou Chair.
The final piece is powder coated aluminum and Nero Marquina marble.

The templates for the 3D model drawings were glued and rough cut to shape.
The legs were then rounded and shaped.
The head piece being shaped to the correct radius.
The spine was shaped and sprayed create a uniform texture for sand casting.
Assembly of unfinished pieces.
The parts coming back from sand casting were welded together and powder coated.
